Three Decades of Dog Training wth Christopher Banke

April 26, 2017

A primary reason Christopher Banke stands among the best dog trainers in the business probably comes from his dog training experience, which covers more than 30 years. A highlight of that long career, of course, would have to be when Chris, along with his very own dog, “Dino von der Maineiche,” received the second highest Schutzhund/IPO III in the United States with a trial score of 297 during a competition. However, that probably ranks alongside the time the pair were featured in the Oscar nominated movie, “Frozen River.”

As a dog trainer, Christopher Banke can help you obtain the results you are looking for, whatever they happen to be. If he seems too young to have 30 years in the business, consider that he started at a very young age. He was just 15 when he discovered that he loved to train dogs and he founded the Algemeiner Schutzhund Club and he was just 19 when he established his own dog training business, “Chris Banke Protection Dog Trainer,” a company that is still alive and thriving to this day, up in northern Vermont.

Christopher Banke’s dedication to the dog training profession also has a lot to do with his sterling reputation. Well-known for his activism within the dog training community, Chris holds memberships in a number of important dog training organizations. Not only did he co-found both Mid-Island Schutzhund Club and The Pinebarrens Schutshund Club, but he has also served as a training director for both. In addition, he is a founding member of Schaeferhund Schutzhund Club and he has served as Vice President for that organization.
